Sweet pink rose scent rises.
Every rose has its thorn.
No joy without pain.

I'm a native Texan who has lived in Colorado since July 4, 2007. I was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas and worked at Texas Tech University for over 22 years.
I have three primary loves: God, people, and life! My chosen career of caring for people is directly linked to these three loves. I love helping people and have a natural knack for it. I believe I have been called to use these loves and skills in my work. I've always felt that and, whether working as an administrative assistant, medical office manager, or as a home caregiver, I work hard to put others first, to assist where I can, and to do so with professionalism and discretion.
In my off hours, I become completely enchanted by beautiful words, colors, designs and nature. I love to read, write (especially poetry), and to travel. I also love to crochet and knit, so I’m constantly fighting a too large yarn stash that tumbles out of closets, drawers, and hope chests.
My husband and I have been married for over 20 years. From a prior marriage, I have two wonderful grown sons, a delightful daughter-in-law, and a toddler grandson with whom I am completely in love.
I wish I could say my blog has only one theme such as crafting or photography or poetry. If my blog has one centralized theme, it is healing. My intent is simple. I want to share my heartfelt love to heal and inspire you, the visitor, to go out into the world each day with good energy, great courage, and love to share with others.
